Hello! My name is Angelina Duarte, also known as Angel. I am originally from Brazil, where I graduated as a journalist and worked as a media relations specialist. In 2014, I moved to the United States and worked in the administrative field, including the General Consulate of Brazil in San Francisco. But the biggest surprise I had in America was discovering a new passion and a gift I never knew I had: working and caring for children. I started to work with kids as a babysitter and I have almost 10 years of experience both as a nanny and a babysitter, having worked with amazing families that I still have contact with. I also worked in a home daycare as an assistant for almost a year. Working with children has been so joyful that I decided to pursue a career in Early Childhood Education and to start My Angels Daycare, which also allows me to care for my very own baby girl in her first years of life.

Our Philosophy

As a childcare business owner, my goal is to guarantee to the parents that their children are in a safe environment and will be treated as if they were my own child. We believe that children thrive in an environment which values their own uniqueness, while providing support and opportunities to grow academically, socially and creatively. Our main focus is to help build a solid educational and social foundation – with all the fun of childhood mixed in – through stimulating situations and hands-on learning opportunities. My Angels Daycare is designed to provide the utmost in security, love, and nurturing for the infants and toddlers in our care.
